New Bunny Towel

When we went out to check our mail Thursday we were surprised with a package. Some of our dear friends in Atlanta, Doug and Carlene, mailed Georgia a gift. It was the cutest stuffed bunny and a hooded bunny towel. It came just in time because she is quickly outgrowing the infant hooded towels! We thought she looked so cute in it we had to take a few pics!

Comments

Like I said before...I am new at the blogosphere. I think I fixed it so that anyone who does not have a Google account can still leave a comment. Just choose Annonymous and type your name at the end of your comment, if you want. Thanks for being so patient while I am learning how to work this thing. Monday is Georgia's 9 month doctor appointment so I will post again with all her new updates!

Monday Night Fellowship- Bowling Pics

Action shot of Chad bowling

Georgia was so good all night. After all the stimulation she crashed when we got home!

These turned out so dark...I hope you all can see them okay.

Monday Night Fellowship- BW3's and Bowling

For those of you who do not know, Chad and I hold a Bible Study in our home on Monday nights. When I say night, I mean night. We usually get started between 11pm and midnight and wrap up between 2am and 4am (depending on the discussion and who all comes). We usually start out with snacks and conversation then move on to something in our culture that deals with whatever we are studying in God's word (usually a movie clip or TV show) then get into the study. We just finished going through the book of James so tonight was just a fellowship night before we begin to look at the big picture of The Kingdom.

We chose the time based on the availablilty of our fellow servers who work late, party later and can't get off work Saturdays and Sundays for traditional church services. We have several guys who come consistently and a few others who come here and there. Georgia and I only make it to the end occasionally.

Here are a few pics from BW3's. The Bowling ones will have to be on the next post. This blog thing is so confusing!

Olivia's Birthday Party

Sunday was the first birthday party for Olivia, our friends Shawn and Sara's baby. We actually didn't make much of the party since we were running late (as always), took a wrong turn trying to find the park and the party ended a little early due to the rain so we went to Sara's new house to hang out and let the babies play. It was so nice to hang out with them since we don't get to very often.

It was fun to watch the girls and see what a big difference 3 months make at this age. They loved the coffee table- it is just their size! Again I only took photos of the babies!

Birthday Girl Olivia

Ooooh! We don't have these toys at home!

Something must be very interesting over there...

Swimming!

Georgia and Daddy in the pool

Georgia and Mama in the pool.
Georgia loves to play on the ground now that she can crawl and pull up on everything! She was a busy girl all day!
It looks like she liked the float but it only lasted a minute.

Our friends, Amy and Carlos, had us and a few other friends over for a day at their pool. The food and fellowship was great (as usual) and it was so fun to see Georgia's first reaction to swimming. I am horrible at taking photos in the moment. I always bring my camera and it usually makes it out of the bag but doesn't always get used. Next time I will try to include photos of people other than Georgia!

Father's Day

My Daddy fishing

My nephew, Ben, showing off his Big Catch With my sister, Rhonda, and brother in law, David. He was the only one to catch a fish and he caught two! Nick was away at camp so I guess Ben had to catch one for his big brother too!

These are photos of Georgia's first experience in the grass. She didn't like it!

The Decision to Start a Blog

Since Chad and I got our computer and signed up for the internet at home I have so enjoyed keeping up with friends everywhere through their family blogs that I thought I would give it a try. I am still learning so please be patient with me but I will try to keep everyone up to date with what's going on with our family (particularly Georgia Kaye!).
