Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter this year. Georgia was so excited about hunting for Easter Eggs, coloring Eggs and the Easter Bunny (who she calls the Easter Rabbit). Here are some of the highlights...sorry about the crummy camera!

On Saturday we went to an Easter egg hunt at my sister's church.

Hunting eggs with Aunt Rhonda

Noah trying to get in on the action...maybe next year.

Georgia with her Uncle David and Aunt Rhonda looking for any forgotten eggs...

Here is Georgia opening her Easter basket on Easter afternoon after church.

At my parents house we hid eggs for the kids. My oldest nephew was in Florida with a friend's family for Spring Break. We really missed him but are so glad he was able to go.
I made Ben work for his this year. Each egg had a clue to where his next egg was hidden. The last clue led him to his Easter basket.

We just scattered eggs around for Georgia to find.

My mom gave Noah a bottle during the egg hunts.

Then today we colored eggs. We just ran out of time yesterday.

Georgia was so excited. She is still a bit too young but we went for it anyway. She totally didn't understand that the eggs would crack if you bang them together or drop them. Good thing you use hard boiled eggs!

My Snow Babies

Today was a snow day! Seminary cancelled classes and Chad was off work so we played in the snow!

Noah was having so much fun bouncing that most of the photos I took we was just a blur!

As you can see, Chad wanted to make a snowman so big that he used a storage bin to transport the snow from the driveway to the yard....Canadians.

Then, Noah took a face plant into the snow and it was time to go in!

Our New Little Paper Carrier!

If you follow our blog you ight remember a post about Georgia "helping" us on our paper routes meaning we just had to take her with us sometimes. She sits in the back with all the papers and tries to hand Chad the papers as he reaches back for them. It is so sweet. Well, we have been taking the kids in with us to stuff papers on Sundays and Noah wants to be a bit more hands on. We got a portable DVD player for Georgia and I wish I had taken a photo of the seat we made for her out of papers in one of the carts but I didn't...maybe next week but I did get a photo of Noah "helping" Chad stuff his papers!

The Princess and the Frog

Oh, how I have neglected my blog. On Halloween night our good camera broke so we have very few photos since then. We do have a camera but it is not nearly as nice as the one that broke but I will try to do a "catch up" post for the last 2 months with bummed photos and the few we have taken ourselves.

On another note, we took Georgia to see The Princess and the Frog yesterday. My parents kept Noah so we could go. It was Georgia's first theater movie and she did awsome! The movie was really cute and we had a great time!

I know Georgia's eyes are closed but I still thought this was a sweet photo.

Enjoying the popcorn during the previews.

Mmmmmm, candies....

Getting the tickets. There were only a few other people there! It really took the pressure off to keep Georgia quiet and still, although she did a really good job.

Hubers

A couple of weeks ago we took a family trip to Huber's for pumpkins. Georgia LOVES pumpkins and has for months so it has been really exciting this month to see pumpkins everywhere. We had a really good time. Our neighbors went a few days before us and gave us the heads up that it is colder and more windy there than it is here so we bundled up and I am so glad because it was really cold!

I love this one of my boys!

Georgia really liked the wagon ride to the pumpkin patch. I love this photo.

As always there are more photos than this on Facebook. It just takes so long to upload them to the blog!

Georgia is 2!

Georgia turned 2 on September 22nd. We were out of town for her actual birthday so we just celebrated with my side of the family last Sunday (10/4) and I am just now getting around to posting the photos. I wanted to go ahead and put them up so I could post about Hubers next then celebrating her birthday with Chad's side of the family next week when his sister is home from college. Whew we've been busy lately.

These are not in order...I always forget to do them backward until I am half way done and by then I have spent too much time to go back adn redo them. Maybe for my next post I will get the order right...

By the end of her party she was soooo tired. She was playing in her room and when things got quiet I went to check on her and this is what I found.

She still doesn't get the opening presents part but she loved the toys she got!

My dad and my son.

My mom and my sister

This is Georgia enjoying her Elmo birthday cake.

She did not like being sung to.

My nephew, Nick and my son.

My nephew, Ben, being silly with the Elmo hats!
